I just had to have all the body systems and it works out to 2 semesters.
I was just wondering if most people had to take more than one semester of A&P for their nursing program? I feel like I got really lucky because I only had to take one semester but it seems like the norm is at least two semesters.

You didnt it was hard because you took on or the other usually at different times. I happened to take both in one semester to get finished and it was hard learing different things at different times.
But your right we often questioned why we had seperate courses and other schools took 1 yr of h/p..
But I will tell you this. My anatomy instructor has been offered jobs at major universities (at our community college-chooses to teach here to raise his family and be here for future generations, taking a HUGE pay cut) and teaches like we are med students. He is so brilliant you felt you didnt get half of it. Lecture did you no good because he spoke over everyones heads.
well, i really liked my one semester, and my school offers either the one semester class or a two semester sequence where they do half the body one semester and the other half the next, and its kinda weird, cause nursing students can take either for the cc nursing program, but dental hygiene students are required to take the two semester classes. doesnt it seem like nurses would need to know more a & p than dental hygienists? but both of the bsn schools i applied to only required the one semester class, so thats what i took. dont want to do any more work than i have to :)
