How many of you have 75 questions passed or failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi, everyone, I am new here

Just took my RN exam yesterday, and... feel so bad. Cannot help it to think I failed it... :crying2: This is my second time to take it. The last time I took it was an year and half ago, I got more than 100 questions, and I failed.

This time, I really spent time preparing for the exam, since I have been out of nursing field for so many years, and it's much harder than I expected and the last time I took it. My brain was blank when I finished the exam. Couldn't remember what kind of questions I had, just memorized that I got a lot of prioritization questions, about 6 to 8. I even got one multiple choice question, when it appeared on my screen, I was so shocked and freaked out.

The computer shut down after I finished 75 questions. I almost cried it out at that time. Cuz I didn't think I do well for all those 75 questions. After I backed home, I kept thinking I failed... :crying2: although my friends kept telling me that having 75 questions is a good sign. I read some msgs posted online and found there are still a lot of people failed with 75 questions... sighs... Don't know what to do next...

People told me I can go onto CA BON's web site to check if my name is on their licensing database. I did go check it... but since I took it on Friday morning, and it's weekend now, I guess I have to wait couple days... sighs...

Congratulations Mino!:biggringi I'm so happy for you!!! I'll be dancing crying dancing crying and dancing some more when I pass my boards!

Congrats again,

Just read all your messages from begining to end so pleaseed you passed. I am in same boat as you now waiting to hear if I passed or failed am obsessed by the NCLEX. My shut down at 105 and I am positive I did badly because I found it really hard. I took it in London one of the first to sit in UK. I know I could have done better and the computer knew too lol.

I can believe how stressed I feel waitingfor this result completly out of character for me an expereinced RN with over 15 yrs behind me.

I am probably going to haunt this web site until I know. It's like you look for reassurance from others and yet at end of day I can re-sit it is not end of the world just feels like it to me right now.

Once again congrats

1. What kind of percentage would one have to achieve to pass? I realize you can get anywhere from 75 questions to 265, but out of what percentage would that be possible to pass?

2. Has anyone failed who had only 75 questions?

I'm just fact gathering, but appreciate any responses.

Kris

WOW... from London??? May I ask what made you want to take NCLEX? and did you get your result yet???

Sorry for the late reply... got sick & been so busy those days after I got my license... Had started to look for jobs, but... sighs... not easy for foreign nurses, & there are some exams coming for me in February... will be really busy in February.

Hope to hear from your good news ASAP.
