Just finished taking my last final for the semester and am so relieved! One year down! The only thing that sucks is that we already know of 6 people who didn't pass the semester. We lost 7 last semester, and Im sure we have lost more who haven't came forward yet. A few of those were students who failed, had already failed another class so now they're out of the program. It's hard to deal with people leaving, especially when you're close. My programs cut off is a 79% and the do not round at all. I had a 92.96 (needed 93% for that A-) and my final grade was a B+ for that class. I was happy, especially when I know people didn't pass. So, how many have you lost this semester?

We don't have finals until May 18, but so far this semester have not lost any. Guess we will know after the final exam! Last quarter, I think we lost something like 9 or 10. I think in our first class we started with 32, and now we have 29(b/c we gained several students each quarter that had failed the class previously.)
It is really hard to lose friends when they don't pass.
Also I am told that once we finish this 2nd med-surge class, that it will get a lot easier(We have Psych, OB, Peds, and then our preceptorship left!)
