M-F 8-10 hours a day (the day of class I didn't study, just reviewed notes taken in class) and sat and Sunday 6-8 hours. I got a 97% same with patho 96%. Made nursing courses a breeze because I had a strong base. Same with BioChem and got a 95%.

2hrs a day max on non class days. Just reread notes on class day. Got an A. A&P I is essentially rote memorization. A&P II requires truly understanding the systems.

Not 10 hrs a day! The best thing to do is schedule daily studying. I aimed for 2 hours a day spread out during the week. Any longer than that and I stopped retaining the info. I did put longer hours in before exams - probably closer to 4.

10 hours a day? Really? So your life literally revolved around that one class? Hmm...
And to answer the original question, NO you do not have to study 10 hours a day. That is absurd. An hour or two a day, maybe 10 hours a week, should be a good balance.

Go through the book before attending class. Review your notes within few hours after the class. Other than this 5-8 hours/week is enough and make sure that you are covering up the syllabus on weekly basis. All the best.
