  1. Lol, yes because this calling you speak started to sound more like just a choice. Sorry if I was offensive, I can tell u put quite some time in that post.
  2. Now admins can ban me for this if they want but some of the threads I been seeing on here are on the ridiculous side. I'm not going to bust anyone out but people please just think before taking up space with simple minded threads. If you are in school and are having trouble understanding concepts or terminology, utilize your instructors office hours or find help from someone at your school. That is what school is for. If you are in your last semester of nursing school and don't know whether to finish or quit, just quit because there are other people who will love to be in your spot without any doubt. If you are frightened about the classes you are taking, maybe you should switch to a major that will cause you less stress and anxiety from the prerequisite work. Just a few thoughts. Good day my good people.
  3. That's the only class you are taking so you shouldn't be too worried, just do what the teacher says.
  4. Lol, what do you even mean by calling anyway?
  5. Yes, people who want to be nurses and work hard to become one.
  6. Isn't that what you are in school for? Ask your teacher for help sometime after class...
  7. Go on Wikipedia or google they will tell you an indepth answer
  8. I live in Illinois! Do you know if that is available in Illinois by any chance?
  9. thank you for your input. I do not use any drugs or marijuana anymore at all. What i mean by reformed is that I stay clear from trouble and illegal substances and am just focused on getting my education and being a positive role model in the world.
  10. Well i have been a pre nursing student for about 2 years now. I have had big plans of graduating nursing school and going on to my career as well as furthering my career. To be honest though, my past is a little shady. I have theft charge from 2006 for getting caught doing a dine n dash...i was caught with an unregistered unloaded firearm in 2008, and also I falsely represented myself to an officer in 2008. I also have numerous traffic offenses including driving on suspended license twice. Also I have 3-4 possession of cannabis tickets (1-10 grams). The school I am applying to asked me to fill out a background check form and I did. I have a feeling that they might not accept me though. I have since reformed myself and got on a straight path. I am aware that even if i get accepted to a school, I will probably face issues with getting licensed as well as getting hired. Any thoughts on my situation would be greatly appreciated. Be as brutally honest as you can, I don't mind.
  11. I mean already..not yet..smh
  12. I know most of you are getting ready to start school in a week or 2. I was just wondering who has started studying in advance. I told myself I was going to study in advance but it has not happened yet and I start on Monday. shame on me lol! hope it does not bite me in the butt with the two biology classes I have to take.
  13. lol..c'mon now..where would you get the idea that they are the same class?
