There's 28 total people in my class and two of us are guys and it's an ADN program. I'm 20 years old and the other guy is in his mid 40's. The school I go to is 100 years old and this is our nursing program's first year, and I've got a decent shot at being the first and only guy to graduate from the first class, if you catch my drift . Since I'm younger I kind of take a "brother" role to a lot of the girls in there, and I'm the one to make everyone laugh... My class is pretty cool because it's so small we're closer to one another.. A lot of us anyway.
Anyone else have any stories?

To answer your question about dropping, it is because schools do a very bad job of selecting good students. The drop rate in my program is nil because the faculty don't "weed out" people once the program started. They already weeded out everyone and got the cream of the crop. They only accepted 40 out of over 400 applications-- and you had to have GREs and have taken a research methods course.
My cohort has 40 and 5 males.
