How many guys in your class?

Nursing Students Male Students

Published

There's 28 total people in my class and two of us are guys and it's an ADN program. I'm 20 years old and the other guy is in his mid 40's. The school I go to is 100 years old and this is our nursing program's first year, and I've got a decent shot at being the first and only guy to graduate from the first class, if you catch my drift ;). Since I'm younger I kind of take a "brother" role to a lot of the girls in there, and I'm the one to make everyone laugh... My class is pretty cool because it's so small we're closer to one another.. A lot of us anyway.

Anyone else have any stories?

We started last semester with 84 in the class and 5 guys. This semester we are down to about 75 with the same 5 guys. We are all pretty young too. I'm the oldest at 24. The class a semester behind ours has about 18 guys out of 80. I don't know why they have so many more than we do, but I'm not complaining.

AO program here. Started out with 80. 11 are dudes.

Just attended orientation. So not everyone showed about. But there is a min of 10 in our class of 60.

There are only 2 out of my class of 40. We just started, but I doubt we will lose them any more then anyone else. They seem smart and dedicated like the rest of us. :smiletea:

I want to say we have 7 guys out of about 70 students. From what I'm hearing, this is higher than average.

Class of 24, 5 of them male.

We have 72 people in lecture and about 20 something are men. We have ten people in clinicals and four of us are men. :pumpiron:

we have 6 out of 41 in my class at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, ca

Don't mean to stray off topic, but I was wondering why so many people drop? Is it just the material, or do they change interests or what? Just thought I'd bring it up
