How long to wait before PVT?

When it says: "Delivery successful"

I waited a few hours. But like limerick said, once it says delivery successful, you should be able to have it determined. Good luck!

How or when do you get delivery sucessful? Completion of exam or when you do the PVT? Sorry, last minute nerves here. I take it tomorrow at 8am!

Once you get home, go to the Pearson VUE website and log in. It should bring you to your page of current activity. Right now I believe, since you have not taken the exam, it should say 'scheduled'. After you take it, it will change to 'delivery successful' probably about an hour or so after you finish. You will need to make sure it says 'delivery successful' in order for the Pearson VUE Trick to work. Does that make sense?

What if you live in CA? CA usually takes forever with their results. Will it say delivery successful right away? Or does that depend on the state you live in and if they participate in the fast results thing. Unfortunately for me CA doesn't participate in the either. And what happens if you do the PVT and it doesn't say delivery successful yet?

I am not familiar with CA's way of doing it but I think it's the same for the PVT (delivery successful just means your results have been reviewed and are in, which is usually an hour or so after the exam is finished). The only difference is CA doesn't offer the quick results 48 hours later... but I did hear you can go to the BON website and your name is usually up within 24-48 hours if you passed. Most other states (at least IL), doesn't do that. You have to wait for a letter for your license verification to come in the mail, then mail that back to the state and wait another week for our names to be up on the BON site.

If you do PVT without it saying 'delivery successful', you may get inaccurate results (ie: credit card page even though you may have passed). Hope that helps a little. Good luck!

it must say "delivery successful" in order to try the PVT. in California, wait until an hour after your exam. and for the official result, the letter will be sent to you 2-3 weeks.
