Nurses, who already got their Green Card, how long did it take, guys? Please, share...
I know it's long ways to go for me (I applied in december 2005), but I just wanted to have a little idea on when to plan my trip home.
Suzanne says those dates on INS site are not always exactly accurate...
Those, who haven't received their GC yet are also welcome... How long have you guys been waiting already?:)
Thank you!
Did you mean 4 months from the filing of the I-140 at the Texas Service center to the time you received your visa in your home country? If that is so, then that is the fastest that I have heard of. Most people, nurses and agents, are telling me that it will take at least 12 months, probably longer, to get the green card.
Suzanne, would like to hear your thoughts about this. Will filing with the Texas Service Center at this time considerably shorten the process versus filing in California or Vermont?

She is in US, that's why it took 4 months.

From the submission of ALL documents and the receipt of green card, it took about 4 months for me. I use Texas service center. My case filed at the begining of October.
