How long do i have to wait in CA??? HELP

So i took my test on wednesday and it is now friday and still nothing. California doesn't do the quick results. So how long do i have to wait?? I'm going crazy, i already feel like i failed becuase i didn't get a lot of priority questions or any deligation questions and i only had 75 questions and for only having 75 i feel like i should be able to gauge how well i did, but i can't so i feel like i totally bombed it. Anyways, i already checked the rn.ca.gov site today and my name isn't there. Should i bother checking again today? do they only update it once/day? And if i failed does that mean that my name will just never show up? PLease help i am so stressed:(

Checking the status of your IP does not tell you anything about passing the nclex or not. I have a friend that finished in Aug, passed her nclex so she's an RN now, and her IP is still on the site.

i failed last dec 9 and my IP is still active on CA bon site. hehehehe...lol... dont rely on it. better wait for the official result to make sure.

I called the BRN this morning and my file is complete, and they said they used to give hints about if you passed or not but now they dont' even do that. The guy told me i should know the lastest by next week. And the website wasn't updated last night. So that should make all us cali people feel a little better. "youknowwho" let me know when your name is posted on the BRN. Thanks everyone

Are you sure about the school records? Because my school still hasn't sent our records in and, last I heard, won't do so until the end of the month. This has been a problem for quite a while, at least in our program.

Usually it takes our school about six weeks, give or take, to get the records in and, people who took it early had to wait that long to get their results. But, once the records were in then the wait time was as little as three days.

This is one of the reasons I'm waiting until February to take it. I know, at least with my program, that I won't get the results until then and I figure I'd study instead of pulling my hair out waiting.

So ... how did you find out? By checking the RN online database on the BRN site? Is that the best way to check for Cali?

Yeah go to rn.ca.gov then go to on-line services and click on verification and then type in your name and if it comes up you are an RN

Hey congrats 2007BSN!!!!:balloons: :balloons: I'm taking the exam next Tuesday I just know my anxiety is going to get worse right after taking it. So you said you took it on Wed and found out today..... so it took approx. 3 days for you to find your name on the site?? I'm in Cali also and from what I have heard and read, Cali seems to take forever. I am just curious to know how quick they post names if you pass.
