How long after taking NCLEX-RN did you receive your licence

Published

I'm in Houston, TX and took my NCLEX exam on Feb 10, 2010. I paid for the early results (become available 48 hours after testing). I passed :). Now I am wondering when will I recieve my license or when will it become displayed on the BON website. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I took the test on a Friday, and it was posted by noon that Monday.

I believe I had my license within a week and a half.

This is the PA BON.

Congrats! :D

I took my test at 8am on a Thursday and my license was posted to the BON website by noon. This was Indiana.

You won't receive a license because Texas no longer issues paper licenses. I saw my results up within 2 days. (Also, in Houston.)

Thanks to all of you. When I verify my license on the TX BON website it still has me as a GN, thats why I'm asking. Maybe it'll change this week coming up. Methodists Hospital Applications ask for my license number. Thanks again for your input.

I took the NCLEX-RN on Mon Feb 8 and found out I passed on Tues Feb 9 on the Ohio Board of Nursing website.

And amazingly, one day later, I received my paper license in the mail. I didn't think that Ohio issued paper licenses anymore...but apparently they do:)

Thanks and Congratulations.
