How long does it take to have your license issued?

I am starting to get real fustrated!! I NEED to start working, my husband and I are barely making it! With 3 kids and 1 income we have tapped into all our resources!! Just wondering if they realize that it is people's future that they are slowly processing???>?>?>?

It'll post soon :) I still have not received my physical license btw but I will post when I do so you know a time frame.

Oh yeah I mean, physical lic. Or # online either way I don't see what the hold up is...so annoying Fl where I'm from of all states that's the most bassakwards of them all posts the lic# like 24hrs or less after passing *** lol

I called again today, and the lady was very short with me! They have not even processed my check. I asked if there was another office I could talk to who processes checks and she said that she could not do anything to help. I explained that I needed to have an idea to let my employer know and she said that she could not do anything that would help. She was actually VERY rude. My employer called me minutes after speaking with this lady and she told me not to worry that they were having another orientation in 2 weeks. Thanks goodness!!!

Just to let you girls know I did get my physical license today. They could at least print it on more sturdy paper for $50!! Lol

Just looked up my friend.

Took hers 5/29, quick results 5/31 said she passed. Her license issue date on idpfr website says 7/2...

I mean thankfully I can work license pending but my one friend who lives in Chicago MUST have a physical license / lic# before she can even apply!!!

I'm in TX, I took the NCLEX on 6/28. I got the good pop-up and the quick results confirmed that I passed. It's now 12 days later and the BON still has not posted my license!!

Why is it taking so long??

I have finally been put on the registery! I ended up having to call Jim Sacia's office, our State Rep, and then I was all of a sudden up on the site! I am so glad that I am now I can start working on the 23rd!!!

Good for you :) my employer has decided they are going to pay me for however many hours they want instead of the salary I'm told I was to receive. I work 45+ a week and you pay me less than 40?!?!?! Needless to say, ill spend the weekend doing homework and searching for a new job!

Excuse my language but I am officially getting ****** off. If all these other states can post license numbers in ONE day, where the heck is mine??? It's been 3 weeks.

I would call the department of state/ BON and ask them, I had an issue with my ATT and called them and here mine was just waiting to be release, the corrected it in one day and I test 2 days later (yesterday) now waiting to see if I passed :)
