Which state are you in? It depends on your state I believe. I'm in Louisiana, and my license number was posted this morning!

Yeah I'm in IL and took my test on 6/11... My license has not posted. I did get a lovely letter in the mail asking for $50 for my license fee 2 days later...of course!!!

I am working as an ADON/MDS RN though because they send an official pass letter.

Just the person i was looking for lol.. how long did it take to get your pass letter? i believe it takes 8-10 weeks to issue our licenses!!!

Sure hope Illinois does not take 8-10 weeks. I can not start my orientation to my new job until my number is on the website. I really want to get started soon. I just received my letter today, exactly one week from the test date. I mailed off my money same day. I hope that they process a bunch at once. I need to recoup these fees soon!!!! I guess until then I will enjoy my children, the pool and the sun!!! Jen post on here as soon as you see your license, that way pneumothorax and I know how long we have to wait. Thanks much!!!

So u can't work under the guise that you have passed ? That's crappy. I can just walk in with my pass letter, & I start orientation . Gravy.,

Hey guys, thanks for all of your responses. I'm actually in texas. I got anxious and called the state. Here it takes up to 10 days after you pass for them to put your license on BON site which isn't bad. However they only enter the license on there site twice a week on tuesdays and thursdays.

Eek. I'm working as an ADON/MDS nurse with just my letter; I'm surprised you can't! I will def post when its up!

Still waiting.....

My professor told me that others will be able to check NCLEX results in 3 days, and once others can see your results, you are legal to work. Does anyone know if it's true? I live in Illinois. I have a summer nursing job in like 10days, but I just took my NCLEX today and will get my results on the 29th. I really hope they post the results for others by the third date...

I'm in il and took my boards on June 11th and I'm still not on the bon but you can work once you pass, yes. You will get an official pass letter in the mail and can work under the supervision of an RN until your license posts/comes in the mail.
