Just curious - how long does it take you to get to work?

I'm a fifteen minute walk through a very nice neighborhood to work. 1 mile each way. It's great! Even on days I don't make it to the gym I've still managed to get a half hour of cardio in (i use this as an excuse alot NOT to go to the gym).

JedsMom, the picture is of my Champion "Harry". I lost him 3 weeks ago to cancer. Just completely out of the blue. I have had many dogs over the years, 26 years, but this was by far the hardest. Mike

7 minutes. I am a mile and a half from town. I love it!!! Just far enough away to have a 3 acre yard and privacy and close enought to have a short drive.

20 minutes in the summer, longer in winter if weather is bad. We get around 300 inches of snow a year.

If I drive 55-60.....1 hour 15 minutes; if I drive 60-65....approximately 1 hour, give or take a couple of minutes; if I drive 65-70......about 55 minutes; in excess of 70.......45 minutes. This of course under perfect conditions (ie good traffic, no accidents and good weather) I have been making this 56 mile commute for 5 yrs and 6 months. I used to work 15 minutes from home.....I miss that commute but I do not miss the poor staffing conditions.
PS: Mike, sorry to hear of the loss of your prized pooch. I know how hard it is.

2 hours and 15 min. I work in a different town. I share an appartment there, so accually it only takes me 1 to 2 min to drive to work. Do my three days then drive back home for my 4 days in a row off.
