I'm just wondering how long does our paychecks lasted b/c I have some that are not cashout yet...too busy...so I'm thinking about switching to direct deposit...

You'd have to either contact the bank or ask your employer - many times they're good for 6 months; but that's just more or less a general rule of thumb vs a definitive answer. Direct deposit is always a good thing:-)
Also, in the event that they are expired, the checks can be reissued

It should say it on your check..."Void after 120 days" or something like that.
Thanks so much semester1kid & thenameismac for the reply.

My present employer's checks have a 60 day time limit printed on the face of the check, so I don't let them sit around. In general, if a check (with no limit printed on it), is not cashed for a year, then it is considered "stale" and the bank may not honor it.

I think mine is 90 days. Sometimes I don't get around to cashing mine right away. I thank God my husband makes decent money.
Hmmm... really!!! I never know about this before, if it's true that would be awesome:)
I noticed that some checks that I received from other places have the expired date on it but these checks that are issued at our facility didn't say it at all...

Just sign them over to me and I'll cash them for you.
Thank you caliotter3 & Dondie for the reply as well!!!
You're so hilarous!!!! People asked me "You don't need money" but actually I'm saving all these money for nursing school, it's expensive you know!!!
It is a little bit of a process (re: paperwork) - but most employers will reissue a check if it expires and you approach them about it. It only happened to me one time (because I actually lost the check, the subsequently found it a long time after). But it was replaced and I since switched to direct deposit
