I graduated from one of the top nursing schools in our state. Our school used ATI throughout nursing school. I took a month vacation after graduation. Then signed up for Kaplan. Studied for 1 month. Assess my weak areas in Kaplan then used ATI to practice tests just on my weak spot. 2 days before NCLEX, I used Saunders just to do all SATA questions. Went to church.
NCLEX day: Went to Pearson Vue one hour before exam. Took exam for 2 hrs and 15 minutes, computer shut off after 75 questions. I did not do Pearson Vue trick because I've heard from some students that it did not work for them. I don't want to become depressed for 2 days because PVT shows bad pop up, and it will end up that I passed.
To make story short, I paid the Quick Result after 48 hours... and shows "Passed". Wow! I passed NCLEX first time! It's all about having the right review materials, studying hard, and studying smart. God will help you if you will do also do your part.
Any questions... pls don't be shy do post a comment below. Thank you all for reading

Hello Arianiy. I'm sorry to hear you failed NCLEX 2 weeks ago. You must be feeling really sad and frustrated. But you were asking me good questions! It means you are not giving up and still ready to fight *two thumbs up*
I study for averagely 7-9 hrs a day. On days that I ran many errands in the morning, I'm a little tired in the afternoon and only studied for 7 hours. On days that I have full devotion on my NCLEX review, I could study for up to 9 hours. I study for a little bit over 1 month. I study Kaplan for 1 month, then I went to ATI for 2-3 days just to practice weak spots on my Kaplan assessments. I took 1 day a week to take a break... do nothing, just be lazy all day, watch movies, mani & pedi, spa, etc. etc just to refresh my mind and brain. Then get ready again for the review. 2 days before NCLEX, I did Saunders and just anwered all the SATA questions.
Any more questions, pls feel free to ask :)

I just took my NCLEX yesterday, had 75 questions, 21 SATA, and one math questions, I am freaking out and too scared to do the pearson trick, is it a bad thing? I am dying to find out the result. I can't eat, breath, sleep!!!! I can't do anything. I am getting more scared after reading everyone's post about getting more SATA in their exam.
Any feedback?

Hello Karmen, the NCLEX that I took in my post is NCLEX-RN. But to answer your question, you can click this link: https://www.ncsbn.org/2014_PN_TestPlan.pdf Wish you the best!

Hi dhwani. I did not do PVT because it did not work for some students, so I thought it's not 100% accurate. I just waited for Quick Results instead. Hope you were able to distract yourself during the 48-hour wait! By the way, did you pass?
