How do I get "Rob's Video"?

Hi,

I have been reading some posts on this site and a few people have mentioned Ivan's notes (which I found here) and Rob's video. Just curious how I would go about getting a copy of the video. I am planning to have my CPNE application completed by the end of this week, so............. now I'm trying to find a starting point. Got the carjack printed, and I read a little of that each day. Probably going to do the online care planning workshop. Considering the workshop too. I guess I am just kind of feeling like "duh, what?" right now and hoping to get myself organized, pronto!!

Thank you for your help!

Congrats on getting to this point! Your plan sounds good. The first thing I did was to get the carjack printed out, and then read the whole thing, cover-to-cover, before doing anything else.

Thank you for your replies! I ordered the video today and will continue reading the carjack, over and over and over :)

also try the EC website EPN message board. Alot of students who have passed already will pay-it-forward and give away some things. That's what I did. I recently sent my copy of Rob's DVD to a future GN with the stipulation that she does the same.

If you are considering a workshop, wanted to recommend West Coast Tina's. You can read about it at: http://www.cheducation.com. Excellent teacher, covers everything you need to know, with excellent pointers, plenty of practice stations available. Good luck.

I ordered the download version of Rob's Video on Sunday, but I noticed he has not approved the charge on my cc. I sent him an email yesterday, but have yet to hear back from him. Has anyone ordered the download version, or heard from Rob recently?

I'm a bit clueless about what 'carjack' is exactly. I'll do a search. Thanks for the info.

Ha ha. I just checked my email after posting the above reply, and it was there! :yeah:

The carjack is known as the CPNE studyguide. The most current one is the 15th edition. Glad you got the video. He now has a skills video.

The "carjack" was the old term for the CPNE study guide ... when EC used to send it out in printed form (not on CD, as they do now), the binder was big enough to jack up a car; hence, the nickname. :D

Oh, right on. Yea, I have been going over the 'carjack'. Thanks again.
