How do I get full research articles off the internet?

Hello. I am working on my case study presentation on breast cancer treatments and side effects for grad school. I found some great abstracts on medscape and medline, but I can only get access to the abstracts and not the whole articles. It is driving me nutty! I know there's a website where you can find free articles (not freearticles.com because they are not research articles) related to science and medicine and nursing, but I cannot remember what it is. Can someone please steer me in the right direction!??! Thank you so much!!!

Christy, if you join Medscape you will have full access to their articles; there is no fee. Aside from that I don't know of a way for you to get access to those articles unless you go through your school's online library.

When I was in grad school I had access through my school's library to OPUS online (they gave me a ID/Password) and I did all of my research that way. The majority of articles I needed had full text online this way. I would contact your library at school and see how they can help you. Good Luck!

Your school should have access to OVID, which has full articles online. If not perhaps work has the articles available.

I could use the school access via the web from home. Also check your hospital. They should have a library too.
