it's not that hard! The best thing to do is try not to be nervous and take your time. The math is super easy. Just know ratios and proportions. The science is pretty random. I would study the parts of the cell and their functions! Use the HESI book for vocab. That was the hardest part for me!
I'm a nervous wreck. My prospective school only requires 5 sections out of the 9 (Vocab, Math, A&P, Grammer and Reading)...I have a question for those who competed/took the actual exam, was the Vocabulary section in the Hesi study guide helpful and did it prepare you well for the actual exam? I noticed that it only listed 3-4 pages of words and examples. Also, how was the A&P section? Thanks and good luck Rachelj1222!
The vocab in the study guide is pretty much the words you get asked when you take that section. I studied the study guide, and also went to www.quizlett.com [8] go there type in HESI and you can go over vocab on your computer till your eyes bleed!
I took the test last month, one tip that wordked for me is to do READING first! Its hard to concentrate if you do it last.....when your tiered haha

Thanks for the resource...I was debating between Math and Reading as to which I should take first so, I would take your advice to consideration.
i didn't think it was that bad! i only had math, reading, vocab and grammar. I used practice tests at www.test-guide.com/free-hesi-a2-practice-tests.html and flashcards at http://quizlet.com/subject/hesi/

How hard did you think the HESI was and do you have any studying advice?
