My answer would be nothing to do with your question really, but just ask a Scotsman in a kilt, especially after a beer or two, at a wedding, or a football game etc...then its butts and stuff 'R us!' Dont need to ask twice for an array of the not so pretty bits!! :lol2:
(a TRUE Scotsman wears nothing under a kilt btw!):chuckle:chuckle
I've had some refuse but after reiterating that it is regulation and I am doing it to protect them and ensure that they are ok, they have agreed. I make it as painless as possible and don't require them to strip, just let me pull the back end of their pants down to check. As long as they don't feel like they are exposed all at once they don't seem to have a problem.

Might seem like a silly question, but for the A&O pts who aren't incontinent, it puts you in a weird situation to just come out and say that you need to see their backside to check for pressure ulcer areas.
How do you make the situation less uncomfortable?
