How expensive is your program?

Just curious about the different pricing in the country. I attend a 12-month LVN program:

Fall 2008: 2,150 tuition/fees + $700 books + $100 misc.

Spring 2009: $2,275 tuition/fees + $100 books + $450 misc (graduate pin, board fees, etc.)

Summer I: $1,550 tuition/fees

TOTAL: $7,325

I am out of district, though. The in-district fees total $5,500.

This is Tyler Junior College, by the way.

Mine will cost 26,000. It is hard to swallow but , still the best option for me. If there was a less expensive alternative I would take it but.....at least I will be a nurse soon.

My program cost 12,500 . I go to Penn State and its an 18 month program... EVERYTHING is included in that cost... books...uniforms...lab supplies....everything... Its a bit expensive compaired to CC but it works just fine for me :D

wth? are you serious!? man...i paid $18,000 for a 12-month lvn program, and my school is a joke! i bet you probably had a better education than me with lower tuition. geez. i should've done my research. EVERYONE! take my advice. research the schools that you want to attend. ask for their graduation rates and nclex passing rates. find out for yourself if you're going to get a good quality education 'cause you're paying for it.

I attend a 12 month program at a technical college on the east coast. I pay around 2500 per semester books, supplies, uniforms, ect. not included. I don't qualify for finacial aid but I do get 825 per semester in lottery tuition. As a matter of fact I rallied at our capital building last month to keep lottery tuition in our colleges. They are wanting to take it from techs an universitys and use it for other causes in the state. For some of us it's the only assistance we get.

I paid about $18,000 for a 12 month program at a private school. That included books and NCLEX fees, I just had to pay for the uniforms.

I am waiting to test in Northeastern PA at Career Technology Center near Scranton. The tuition is about $9,600 before books, scrubs, uniform, etc. I originally was going to go to college for the 4 years, however, since I am not going to work at all during school time, 4 years was impossible. I'll go back for the RN later in life, lol, I'm 46 now - ouch :-) I heard this school is very good and I'm very happy to have chosen it - now I hope they choose me!!

I will be attending a 10 month problem just south of Boston, MA at a community college. I was told it is roughly $18,000 by the school and when I add up the credit costs that is pretty close.

$5,500 in Southern California

@ an adult school

22 month program 2 days a week

local CC is $10,000

private college $20,000

2 years is kind of long but only 2 days per week so I can work full time and take other side classes

I am starting March 30th and I am paying $29,000 for mine :smackingf:grn:and its a 12 month night program
