I was at home by myself when I found out I passed my NCLEX - I had gone online to check and saw that a license had been issued for me. I flipped out and then started calling people...LOL :balloons:
I had to work the day after I found out I passed my NCLEX - my mom and dad ordered pizza for the unit -- needless to say we didn't get a whole lot of work done that day... fortunately the census was low.

I'm just curious. I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I remember when I graduated from the BSN program how everyone congradulated me. I remember thinking, hold on guys, I still have the biggest hurdle waiting for me--passing boards. When I found out I passed that's when the relief kicked in and then I could willingly accept the very much deserved congrats from my family and friends. I remember telling my husband, "I've worked so hard for this little piece of paper with my nursing license number on it that I want you to bury me with this." He just laughed. But on a more serious note, I have a feeling that just like you can relive that exact moment when you found out about 9-11--a lot of you remember the exact moment and how it felt when you first found out that you passed boards. I was at home by myself when I found out, and I was screaming so loud with joy that I sacred my dog. My husband and me went out that night to the best restaurant in town to celebrate. Then about a month later, I went out and got a new car (my other one was old and falling apart). What did you do to celebrate when you found out?
