Hey I'm new to this site, and was just curious how Nova's nursing program is. I just got accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at the main campus in Davie. Any advice on how it is? Did you feel prepared when you took your NCLEX after completing the 27 month program? Would love to hear from anybody. I'm so excited and cant wait to start in august! :)

What I ended up doing was going to my current school FIU, and I asked them for my vaccination records that I turned in when I was an incoming freshman, and from there I figured out what I needed. Pretty much everything. I made an appointment with the physician there at the health center, and told her I needed these certain vacs and paperwork done, and she figured out the rest. Everything came out pretty cheap, around $140. Hope that helps.
All the paper work you will need to get the ID card and decal should be on Sharklink or the orientation website. You will have to completely fill out the forms and make copies of whatever info they need (schedule, car registration, etc.) I went to the Horvitz Building to the one-stop-shop (w/ easy vistor parking) for the car decal and for the ID...I went to the Don Taft ID office (short walk from Horvitz), but there's one in the Health Building (but it's never open).
Hi guys....I started this past semester. The work attire gets old quick, especially when you have no extra time for laundry/ironing/etc. So FYI: You can wear scrubs and NOVA t-shirts with any type of shoes the first semester. By the second semester you must dress in the offical scrubs, white shoes, and lab coat.

PS: Every now and then I check the website...so if you have any questions post them and I'll try to respond asap. It's my last week of finals, so it may be a few days!!!
