How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?
Hi guys....I started this past semester. The work attire gets old quick, especially when you have no extra time for laundry/ironing/etc. So FYI: You can wear scrubs and NOVA t-shirts with any type of shoes the first semester. By the second semester you must dress in the offical scrubs, white shoes, and lab coat. LIZ PS: Every now and then I check the website...so if you have any questions post them and I'll try to respond asap. It's my last week of finals, so it may be a few days!!!

As for books, you can take your schedule to the bookstore or go on-line and type in the classes to order the required books for each class. Also, thats how you can find the IBSN numbers incase you want to look else where.

All the paper work you will need to get the ID card and decal should be on Sharklink or the orientation website. You will have to completely fill out the forms and make copies of whatever info they need (schedule, car registration, etc.) I went to the Horvitz Building to the one-stop-shop (w/ easy vistor parking) for the car decal and for the ID...I went to the Don Taft ID office (short walk from Horvitz), but there's one in the Health Building (but it's never open).

Hey guys. Just wanted to say Congrats to all that have been accepted for January. I just started this semester, and believe me you have your work cut out for you. It's a huge life adjustment. You'll have to work for every point (Physio/Anatomy), but you'll feel the reward. If you have any questions, especially about the first semester you can e-mail me at [email protected] . -As for your question about the $1000, that comes out of pocket. It's to save your seat pretty much. -Also, I would try to get your school ID and Car sticker before the Christmas break otherwise you'll be in line with everyone else that waited last minute, at Orientation. -And lastly (from the top of my head), you can wear tennis shoes, and a NOVA t-shirt with the teal uniform pants the first semester. While you wait for your embroidered uniform tops and white jacket. So in other words I ordered the tops & jacket from the school and purchased the bottoms from a uniform store. Your choice. I just found it to be easier that way. I know people who bought everything from a store and had it embroidered elsewhere. I don't think they saved all that much more. You'll be able to purchased offical NOVA nursing t-shirts (short and long sleeved) in January after you start. I would suggest you plan on purchasing a few of them. Since they're only offered once, sometimes twice a semester. Like I said if you have any questions shoot me a e-mail. Liz

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I'll be joining you guys at Kendall for the Baptist Scholarship Program this fall. This thread has been great at answering some of my questions. I feel like I've spent the past two days non-stop printing and filling out paperwork. I'm looking forward to starting the program. I don't know about you guys, but it's taken me the past two years to get all my pre-reqs done...so this feels like an accomplishment...even though we're only half-way there. I was looking at the schedule, and it doesn't seem tooo bad (time wise). Thanks again for the info...I'll be sure to add anything that I get wind of.
