How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?

Hey I'm new to this site, and was just curious how Nova's nursing program is. I just got accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at the main campus in Davie. Any advice on how it is? Did you feel prepared when you took your NCLEX after completing the 27 month program? Would love to hear from anybody. I'm so excited and cant wait to start in august! :)

No problem, ok at the bookstore they only have unisex one which on girls looks super big and boxy looking... you want the petite or regular size depends on your body type... the style is different from the unisex... the girls hate them that bought it... its block lettering.... if you want order one from Nova so you can see and then get the rest at the UA store which will come out to be MUCH CHEAPER... trust me... its a rip off at the bookstore.. the lab coat for sure you need to purchase through the bookstore so try those one there too to see what size you are.. they range in sizes like 2,4,6 etc. Im a size 4... fits a little long but perfect. But for the scrubs be careful because they will sell you the unisex and it doesnt look right i can email you the pic of what goes on the scrub if you like.. they changed it for our class and its going to be the same for your class... before the color was just Teal now its REAL TEAL by Cherokee.. and they are in back order.. a bunch of ppl from my class are still waiting. I had to hem the bottom of the pants they are long and run big and i got petite.... so see what size you are.. you can go to the UA store and try them on there they have them... not the exact color but the brand... Cherokee runs big.. i thought i was one size and then i wasnt... so i would try it on at another store and they can order them for you and engrave them as well... Let me know if you need anything else. Like i said if you need to see how it looks let me know... The UA store is a replica of NSU bookstore i have been wearing them and you cant tell the difference and it will be lighter on the pocket :clown:

I sent it back to you already... let me know if you got it... Yes i started already OMG OVERWHELMING.. DO NOT underestimate that Advanced anatomy and physio class... WOW we are already going on 4 chapters and we still have 2 more to go before our test. Its a LOT of work.. the other 2 classes are not too bad. The math one is ok im not going to say anything yet on that.. didnt do well on the quiz but that was my own fault i underestimated it. However, its hard and just tiring... the drive to davie and then back to kendall at times just kills you... thank god its only one semester, but honestly they are very very helpful and everyone even the upper classmen answer your questions and they come into your class and talk to you the first week. So its nice... everyone is nice... I love it... I chose a great school i know it already. You can feel it u know.... But the material is not easy and everything is NCLEX style, so they prep you right from the beginning... you are not babies anymore lol there is no spoon feeding ... you have to read a lot and pay attention... Im falling behind just on the readings and it makes a big difference because you are adjusting to this new lifestyle... but im getting the hang of it., you just have to see what works for you... and then you will be ok.. We finally have the carpooling down lol... so imagine the commute kills me but then you start falling into a routine... I start anatomy for the first time MOnday.. AAAAAAAAAhhhhh and physio is hard as it is but im looking forward to it.. The physio professor IS GREAT!!!! goodluck you will be fine and let me know if i can provide you with anymore info.

Wow. Thank you again for all your help again. So, the anatomy and physio are separate?? I feel like if I can't wait and I am scared. But when I start i am going to put all that I can into it so, I can pass. I really truly want this. Also, all of your test are nclex based not knowledge based like the common college tests?
