Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

Yes just haven’t heard about that opening from my cohort. It’s a popular position from what I’ve been hearing.. didn’t apply to it though.

I was invited to the open house and put pedi ER but that I was open to any campus and any units available.

Did anyone who applied to the “acute care days or nights” posting for Methodist TMC hear back yet after the prescreening? I’ve seen someone post for Med-Surg, but what about other units?
