Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

It seems like they are notifying people by individual unit. At pre-match day they said people could be invited to Match Day all the way up to March 24th!

Harris Health has sent out invites for an information session. Have y'all heard anything about this? is it like a pre-match day?

It sounds only informational to me.. nothing like interviews. Does anyone know?

Anyone received information back from Methodist after 2nd interview (TMC, Baytown, Woodlands etc.)

I got an offer yesterday from Baytown Methodist for medsurg
