Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

Thank you. Days are my preference but idk what shift the HR lady told me that I will know closer to June

Thank you and yes I had the second interview on 3/7. They scheduled it the same day I went to the prescreening event. It seems that every campus does things their own way. So as far as I know only Baytown scheduled the second interviews the same day as prescreening event not sure about all the other campuses

If anyone was wondering MH-SE just sent out info about match day.

Everyone in this group stay positive because we will end up where we belong it’s just a matter of time and persistence. If we can make it through nursing school we can do anything!!!
