Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

 I got accepted into the Spring 2024 cohort and they started hiring around mid-August to early October ??‍♀️ The Spring cohort starts in February, at least for MH, HM, TCH, and BT.

I think she means that she graduates IN Spring of 2024 (so May) which means apps wouldnt open until January/February; like I applied FOR the Spring 2024 cohort, and I start in February, but if you don't graduate until May then you wouldn't start until June/July and apps will open early next year

I don't graduate until may 2024, so I'm referring to Spring 2024 as my graduating cohort not the cohort I'm wanting to enter for a residency program.

For anyone who didn't get into a residency program, I saw that St. Luke's has openings. It says it's only for the medical center and the woodlands. There are 17 openings that seem like they're the same thing except for whether it's day or night shift and one for cardiac ICU. Also as a heads up, they don't list what specialties they have open.

mh: $35

st luke's: $33

hca: $31.50

tch: $35.53 ($12 ICU differential)

VA: $38

md anderson: $36

Im not sure, but they have Spring, Summer and fall cohorts.
