Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Memorial Herman is having a zoom pre match day starting February 8-11. It includes all of their hospitals as well as children’s.

Everyone seems to be starting in the $30+ and hour range
Ben Taub - $30-36 per their application
MemHermann - shared in a zoom - $32.50 (during orientation), upgraded to $33 Shift differential - $4 night, $3.75 evening, $4.60 TMC nights
Not sure of Methodist but they are known to pay the most

Does anyone know what would happen if you can't make Pre Match Day? Will they provide a list of who's hiring for what? kinda sucks they are all during school hours...
Hopping on the bandwagon to stay in the loop! I am interested in transplant nursing and have applied to St. Lukes, Methodist, and MD Anderson!
Feeling VERY stressed and overwhelmed!

LOL I never know what to put for that either
