Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

If you go to the career page on their website, just search for clinical nurse residency positions and they should show up! They are listed individually for each unit.
Hey everyone,
Can’t seem to find information regarding how many letters of recommendation are needed and who they have to be from? (For Methodist, Hermann, etc.)
Also, are there any “Pre-Match Day” type of virtual events this year or info sessions for any of the Houston residencies? I’m from out of state so I’m not sure if Texas schools have shared this!

A lot of them are dropping the letter of rec requirement just because the nursing shortage is that bad. ?? I'd still upload with the application to help strengthen the packet but if you look on their websites, they are just saying be a BSN Graduate with a 3.0 !

I was about to but I checked again yesterday and they dropped the requirement to have a paper or letter of recommendation. It didn't even ask me for my work history! Just resume, anything other document you would like to add, and what school are you graduating from. ??
