Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

Same! For medical ICU 

Has anyone requested an extension for a response to an offer? Got an offer from MH but supposed to respond in 48 hrs and I would like to wait till after I interview with MH on Tuesday ?

For those of you who got into Neuro ICU at Memoriall Hermann, have you guys been able to accept your offer? I received an offer but haven't gotten an option to accept it yet.

Any one waiting to hear from a MH location other than med center? I interviewed with Katy L&D on Wednesday and haven’t heard back ?

Yes. I am waiting for hear back from MH Katy location as well as HM.

I'm still waiting too, but I didn't apply to MICU! So I'm still holding on to hope LOL

I’m still waiting too, my first choice was ICU but not a specific one. IDK I emailed them to find out!
