Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

I know it is supposed to have the specific units listed, but I do not see that anywhere? Anyone else having trouble?

I’m having the exact same problem I emailed the grad nurse email at the bottom but haven’t heard anything back yet

Thanks! Which unit did you hear from? I got an invite for their ICU but I also applied to med surg and haven't seen anything for them yet

So for the people who got the email from Houston Methodist does anybody's campus not say Texas Medical center???

I applied to Memorial Hermann, Houston Methodist & St. Luke’s Health. I haven’t heard anything back other than the memorial Hermann behavioral assessment. Hoping we hear something soon. ?

I just want to say that we all will get interviews and we all will be in our chosen speciality. I understand reading the comments and getting anxious, especially with hearing from places and not hearing from places (looking at you Harris health LOL). But seriously for those in the thread commenting, to those reading, you will be hired. Praying for all the nursing seniors and new grads. We did it. All of this is scary but we will be hired!

The HR recruiter said that someone else will reach out to me. This was February 18. I have not heard anything from TCH since then. Did you apply? Heard anything?
