Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

If you applied at Houston Methodist I think they started sending out emails

I got an email for an invitation to the prescreening event for Houston Methodist TMC, but it says to fill out a formal application but I do not see one like the Houston Methodist Woodlands. I know it is supposed to have the specific units listed, but I do not see that anywhere? Anyone else having trouble?

I did get an email today but it says that there's a Job ID in the email that I need to apply to but I don't see it. Did anyone else who got the email come with a job ID?

Yes! I am having trouble too. Mine is for HM TMC too and I don't see a Job ID either.

Yes! I am having trouble too. Mine is for HM TMC too and I don't see a Job ID either. 

In the email sent to you there should be a box telling you the name of the position and time you would interview and under it there is a link straight to the application which is the job ID. I just clicked that and it sent me straight to the application. This is for Methodist west.

Yes I see that and  it says I already filled out that one, I was just concerned because for the Woodlands location it list out specific units to apply to, and for the TMC I do not see any!

I think for TMC there is just one application

did anyone have to email HM for an alternative for prescreening? I'm an out of state candidate LOL

I suggest emailing the recruiter that sent you the application just for clarification. I had a similar question and the recruiter told me I need to apply to units I’m  interested  in, in order to have a interview for them. Hope that was somewhat helpful LOL.
