Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Hey everyone! I saw that there was a residency thread for Spring but not for Summer 2022. I graduate in March 2022 and I believe a lot of the Summer cohorts begin in June/July. I plan to move to Houston once I've written my NCLEX! Where is everyone considering applying? I am looking at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, MD Anderson Cancer Center and St Lukes. I would also prefer to be at hospitals specifically in the sugar land area so I hope when the time comes theyll have the units I want in certain locations. I would like to be in the PACU! Is there anyone else that wants to work in the PACU as well?

In the email sent to you there should be a box telling you the name of the position and time you would interview and under it there is a link straight to the application which is the job ID. I just clicked that and it sent me straight to the application. This is for Methodist west.

Yes! I told them possibly phone call or zoom works best cause I'm from Florida. I haven't heard back though

I would try getting in contact with the recruiter. It could be only one general application for TMC but again email or call whoever sent you that.

okay good I emailed them too and haven't heard back so I was just checking haha!! 

also my email looks like that too but I could only find one application for TMC so I figured it's collective

Could you tell me what the job id number is for the TMC one? Cause I can't find that on the site either.

oh, I applied to this when originally applying to the program. Now I'm confused LOL. I'll need to talk to someone

if you already did the application, you don't need to do it again! I think in the email it was just saying to do the application if you haven't already bc a lot of people probably didn't know there's an application in addition to the general registration for the residency
