I haven’t heard of any offers last week ? I’m still waiting to hear something whether it be good or bad news.

I wish I was interviewing for pedi. I applied late, like a week or two ago, and all they had open was an adult tele/med surg interview spot. I also currently work for HCA so I was hoping that would help but I definitely applied too late. I wasn’t considering them until I got a bunch of denials, because their two year commitment scares me

Do you think you still have a chance to stay with HCA even though you waited late to apply? Since you already employed maybe you can talk to someone and tell them you want to stay.

I would give the recruiter a call and ask are there any more available stops in Pedi. I declined my interview with Pedi at women’s (I believe) because I was offered another position elsewhere.

I work for HCA as a PCA in San Antonio. If I was staying in SA, it would be very simple for them to bring me on as an RN. However, with moving to Houston for my fiancée’s job, it’s essentially a completely different process. They still have to interview me and such, but I probably will get offered a position. Just not where I want unfortunately. I also don’t like the 2 year contract... esp if I’m signing on with a department that isn’t even my 3rd choice.. I would take a job with them in pedi or in an ICU, but right now the recruiter says they ran out of interview spots in those areas since they’re popular areas

Anyone still waiting to hear from Harris Health? If so when did y’all interview? Just trying to see if they are sending offers/rejections based on when we interviewed or another method. I’m being impatient I know ?

When I last talked to the recruiter, she placed me in an interview for tele/med surg at a hospital like 30 miles away from where I’d be living (sugar land) ? because that’s pretty much the closest thing she had to critical care. Said there were no pedi spots left because that’s a popular one. I asked her if she could move me to an ICU spot if one opened up, and she basically said that’s difficult because they have about 700-800 applicants to manage and they all want that same thing done for them. So... IDK what to do ?

Is anyone on here going to be working at Houston Methodist - West?

So Methodist had their general nurse residency applications, and then later they opened individual GN applications for the different hospitals. Has anyone heard from Sugar Land? Or have recruiter information available? I haven't heard anything and just want to get in contact with someone if possible.

The individual applications that were opened later on were for the selected applicants being interviewed for those departments. I know this because I was interviewed for Methodist sugar land ICU and once they sent me my interview invitation I was instructed to go online and apply to the individual GN position for the ICU at my location.
Methodist sugar land interviewed me like a month ago, I think they’re done with interviews

I accepted an offer today with Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute at the Southwest location if anyone else on here is planning on being there!

CONGRATS! When did you apply and when was your interview? I applied there and haven’t got an offer/rejection.
