Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

I don’t think they have updated the website yet. There should be a big red box on the nurse residency page that says REGISTER HERE..for the last cohort, they were delayed at updated the website for a few days..just gotta keep checking

Who do you address cover letter to for residences? Chief nursing officer?

Is the Houston Methodist Winter Cohort website page messing up for anyone? It keeps asking me to log in to see the web page? Wondering if it's my browser or if they are updating the website.

Has everyone that interviewed for HCA in June received an offer or rejection ? I interviewed for  Northwest/Kingwood (NICU) and West (psych).

I interviewed for Kingwood in June but for IMU and Trauma/ortho. They called a couple of weeks ago to let me know the positions had already been filled

Hey I am currently in the StaRN program. I am on week 2. To my understanding, they have finished offering positions about 3 weeks ago. Cohorts started August 24th and the 31st

Hey yall! Does anyone know much about houston methodist? Im not from the houston area but I plan on relocating to the area. Just wanted to know what yall think about that hospital system. Also, if hired into a unit that wasnt your first choice, it is hard to go to ther units?

I'm wondering about HCA as well, I interviewed on June 3rd and haven't heard back over the interviews. I kept getting bi-weekly updates that weren't helpful, and this message was sent to me on August 12. Anyone else?

Houston Methodist is a great hospital system. Lots of locations and very highly rated! I would assume as long as there are openings on the unit you want to transfer to after the residency program, it wouldn't be that difficult.
