Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

Nothing from Methodist either, or St Luke’s. All my applications say Under Review but who knows what that means

I just received an interview request from St. Lukes, is it a group interview? And how do we know what unit we're interviewing for?

For those of you applying for a Texas license - when can we take the Nursing Jurisprudence Exam? It just says to take it and pass it it doesn't give a due date

@nurse4141 From my understanding you take it when you want if it isn’t assigned to you by your school. My school made it one of our assignments so I’ve already done it.

I just received a call from TCH for an interview in the NICU unit!

I’ve heard TCH is extremely hard to get into so I’m not trying to get my hopes up that they might call....

Does anything know about the Kelsey Seybold Clinic RN residency? I got an email about interviewing with them but wanted to see if anyone knew what their residency program was like.

I got a call today from Houston Methodist the woodlands for an interview for next week! For a med surge unit
