Houston Nurse Residency: Spring 2023

Hello all! I wanted to start this thread for students graduating in December of 2022. I plan on specializing in either Pediatrics, L&D, or Postpartum! What field do yall plan to go into and where are yall interested in working?  I know that applications for some organizations will be opening up soon. Hopefully with this thread, we can keep each other informed and up to date. So far, I am aware that the Houston Methodist application opens on September 1st, and Memorial Hermann opens on September 11th.

Harris Health has also started sending follow up emails for their applications with a survey to complete and links to an info session on 9/13!

Hi everyone!! 

did anyone get an email from a recruiter yet for Texas Childrens??! I’m feeling so nervous I havnt heard anything from them yet!

Hi! I haven’t heard anything from them either, and I’m scared I won’t get an interview

I've been waiting to get a call from TCH's recruiter as well for an interview, but hopefully by the end of this week since the interview days are coming up soon! They do have the virtual open house going on right now. 

Other than TCH, has anyone heard back from Methodist's residency?

I applied for Methodist and memorial hermann too. I haven’t heard anything from

methodist. I got an email from memorial hermann regarding the behavioral assessment

Hi everyone! I received two offers from MD Anderson in their Stem Cell Unit and Leukemia Unit. Is anyone who is working there currently tell me which one is better?

One of my peers got reached out to by Methodist. So I think they’re in the process of calling people!
