  1. I ended up choosing the Stem Cell unit! I am from Dallas but this was the only hospital I wanted to work at and like Houston. Yeahhhh I heard parking can be a concern LOL. I just want a close commute to work but affordable place that is safe.
  2. I'm so excited for you! This hospital is also my first choice because cancer hits home for me so much. Are you from Houston? I'm trying to find an apartment close to the hospital before I start that is affordable and safe.
  3. Hi! it was for G-18 and G19W. I am still waiting for one more. I submitted my application on the 1st of September. They called and emailed me for both on the 7th to schedule two interviews one for HR and one panel interview with the team and hiring manager. Had both interviews this week (Monday and Tuesday). They gave it to me on the spot. Does your app show under recruiter review or department review? That might be way because they are going through it right now. Just trying to figure out my options. Do you have knowledge of both units?
  4. No worries! Feel free to update here when you do! ?
  5. Thank you! Did you get and interview? ? From what I specifically remember during both interviews they asked different questions and it is alot of scenario questions. For example, the typical Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to work at MD Anderson? What are your three biggest strengths that will add value to this role? Name a time you dealt with a difficult patient how did you handle it? Name a time you had a stressful situation in the hospital and how did you manage it and what are your ways that you relieved your stress? They were very specific. It was quite relaxed and conversational for me. Just make sure you thoroughly do your research.
  6. Hi everyone! I received two offers from MD Anderson in their Stem Cell Unit and Leukemia Unit. Is anyone who is working there currently tell me which one is better?
