Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2022

I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process. 

The applications are posted. When you go to their career site, just search “New Grad RN”

They have them posted by each location as first choice options. For example the position will say “New Grad RN - Sugar Land 1st Choice - Spring 2022” or “New Grad RN - TMC 1st Choice - Spring 2022”

It is listed like this for each location.

Where do you see that? I only see the one application called NEW GRAD RN - NURSE RESIDENCY PROGRAM - Spring 2022. 

 

Also, is anyone that went to the open houses confused? Didn't they say we'd be able to pick two specialities for each location?

Hi! I went to the open house and they said you get to put your top 2 units per location.

right?? but that's not an option- it's only one per location ?

I noticed that too. I wonder if once you start the application if it lets you? I only looked at the description and am ensuring all my things are ready to be submitted before starting.

OMG! whatttttt..... Does it let you put a second location and secondary unit as discussed in the open house?

Yeah you can do a second location, but only one specialty per location ?

Sorry for the confusion. I’m a current Memorial Hermann employee, so I have to apply though my employee portal. I can only assume that’s why it looks differently. I just opened a new web browser as if I were an external applicant and it doesn’t show the other options I mentioned. I’m not sure why it’s set up that way.
