I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process.

So I was trying to just navigate through the Houston Methodist application to see if we were going to be asked any short answer questions towards the end.. but it just ended up submitting my application with the rough draft version of my resume. Smh ??‍♀️. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with someone so I can update my application? I’ve tried emailing as well as social sites, but no responses.

I think their email is on the website. Have you tried reaching out to them?

This is for everyone graduating around December 2021 and starting residency Spring 2022. The applications for these residencies are opening now.

I literally did the exact same thing. Called and emailed, no response. My prof told me to just resubmit my application so I did. Hopefully its fine

Hi everyone!

So glad I found this forum. ? I am from California & will be graduating this year in December with my BSN. I am looking to apply Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, St. Luke’s & Harris Health. I haven’t submitted my application yet because I’m waiting on a letter of recommendation. Does it matter if you apply early or later in the application period?

Hello everyone! 
I’m a current employee of Memorial Hermann as an LVN, so I’ll be applying there for sure!! Pre-Match Day Open House starts today for certain locations and runs through Thursday September 9. Residency applications will be open from September 12-19. I’m a former employee of Harris Health and I’m indecisive yet if I will reapply there yet. However their applications are already open for those interested in applying to their residency!! I am interested in L&D, Antepartum, NICU, and Mother-Baby!! I’ll be graduating from my RN program on December 10 and I’m so excited! I’m praying that all of you be blessed abundantly and get the dream positions you so desire and deserve!! This is an amazing time to become a Nurse!

Hey I’m also interested in L& D and Mother Baby. I notice that Harris Health application is only open for LBJ location. I’ll like to apply but to Ben Taub location and I do not have an idea when that is going to open up. Please let me know if you get any information.
