Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2021

Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

Everyone I know who has applied has gotten it except me! I’m getting kinda worried!

Hi! I’m graduating in December too and I’m super anxious to hear back from Houston! I’ve applied to CHI St Luke’s, MH, and Methodist. So far, I’ve gotten the survey from CHI and the behavior assessment for MH and submitted those a few days ago. I haven’t heard anything back from Methodist and I’ve emailed them at least 4 times and always gotten an automated response back. Has anyone else heard back from them??

So far I received the behavioral assessment from Memorial Hermann and the survey from St. Lukes, I haven't heard anything from Methodist. How's about you?

I applied to MH and Methodist. I applied the first week the Methodist applications were open and still have not heard back from them either. I have a couple of friends that also applied to Methodist who haven't heard anything either. Hopefully everyone hears something soon!

After my status changed to under review at MH I received my behavioral assessment shortly after that. Y'all should get it soon! Good luck!

I know some people who work at Methodist and I was just told they've already selected and going through the process for those who chose procedural units (OR) because they start a month or so earlier than the others! So hopefully now we'll hear back haha.

What were your top choices if you don't mind me asking? My choices for MH are TMC: Neurovascular ICU and TMC: Neuroscience ICU. Methodist: TMC: ICU and Sugarland: ICU
