Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2021

Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

I recieved rejection email so don’t lose hope LOL

Hello, I'm scheduled for an inperson interview with Houston Methodist - TMC on Thursday. I was wondering if anyone of you know where the interview will be.

Sorry I wish I had the answer to this but I find it interesting y'all are doing in person interviews! I work at Methodist and I'm doing a virtual interview with my managers! haha

Have you emailed them? I am about to and just wanted to see if someone else already did. The email says phone pre-screening so it's very confusing.

The phone pre-screening is a standard practice throughout Methodist locations. The recruiter will usually ask you 3-5 behavioral or situational questions and will give your responses to the department you will be interviewing with

I scheduled my pre-screening phone interview for Houston Methodist TMC Operating Room. However I haven't received any confirmation of my scheduling. Did this happen to anyone else?

So my prescreening says Skype/FaceTime. I was wondering how do I get their information to know what number to FaceTime .

I just completed my interview with TMC MH for Neuro ICU! The interview was pretty relaxed and the clinical coordinator (who interviewed me) made it really comfortable. She asked basics (tell me abt yourself, why MH, why neuro,etc.) and 1 or 2 behavioral/situational questions. She told me she would give me a response by tomorrow or the next day. I think she really responded to genuine answers more than anything and said she would get back to me tomorrow or day after
