Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2021

Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

Did you created and account when you did the jobID?

Yes but I received an email from recruiting to schedule my phone interview with a list of times to choose from. I was not given an option to schedule online. Again this is for Houston Methodist TMC (periop). For memorial Hermann I scheduled online via a link provided to me.

I scheduled an interview with Methodist TMC for acute care, but it says “Facetime/Skype”. I find that kinda odd. Did yours just say phone interview?

“I received your information for the HMH OR nurse residency program. If you are still interested in the Jan 2021 OR residency program, there is a 20 minute pre-screening phone interview that must take place. Please select the date and time listed below for a phone screening interview.”
 

That was the email I received. Again, no online portal just the email with a list of times to choose my time slot only via email. I send an email on Thursday with a time and was told it wasn’t available and to pick a second time. So I emailed back but haven’t heard back since Thursday night. Anyone think I should try calling or email again?

I also emailed her on Thursday and got a confirmation RSVP for the day and time I chose. This is for the pre-screening call for MH TMC periop. Maybe just wait until Monday and email her saying you are just trying to confirm.
