Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

Hi y'all, I have a question about RN I applications. Is a new grad nurse without any experiences also considered as RN I < 1 year of experience?

hi, would one accept a cvicu offer from st. luke's if offered and why? what questions would you want to ask to solidify your decision on going? are there any non-negotiables? thanks!

Were you offered CVICU after the first round of interviews? What background did you have to get it?

I asked a hypothetical scenario question to see the rationale of one were to be offered; I did not say if I received an offer.

Does anyone know of any other residency's still taking applications? I'm willing to move if need be and feel like I have applied for almost everything I can find. It's crazy how competitive it is to get a position and how little positions there truly are hiring for this cohort. Feeling defeated 😞

It really depends, how far are you willing to move?

At this point I'm willing to move anywhere that'll hire me. I'm hoping to stay within a few hours from Houston though.

Ah okay! I'm not from around here so I'm not as familiar with this area. But my previous experience is with UNC up in Chapel Hill, NC and they are currently hiring for their residency and have pretty much every specialty still open!
