  1. oh thank goodness. I have been over here stressing my life away because I'm like, has anyone heard from Harris Health?
  2. Hiii is anyone starting at St. Luke's? Are yall excited? Have yall heard good things about their residency?
  3. which hospitals are y'all's top choices? ? I think I'm a little afraid to go to a certain hospital and then not have the greatest residency experience
  4. Hiii is anyone starting at St. Luke's? Are yall excited? Have yall heard good things about their residency?
  5. Has anyone heard from Houston Methodist? & has Harris Health sent out a link after their info session (for their info session) that they streamed yesterday at 1PM?
  6. Question! I know we are trying to land our first nursing job as a whole and to get our feet wet as a first-year RN. I wanted to ask what are the factors for y'all because I am in a rut! Are y'all choosing based on specialty, facility+environment, pay, end-goal, etc.? Like, what drives you to choose the offer best for you?
  7. TCH is not participating, unfortunately. they won't be for a while, from what I am aware of.
  8. Do y'all plan on applying for the February 2025 cohort if you didn't get the unit of choice or no residency at all?
  9. Choose you! In the end of the day, your own happiness, personal and mental health matters. That is your priority! In the end of the day, you have experience, whether with a residency or not. You can go anywhere you want and always choose you first! What's meant for you is for you, and it will ALWAYS work out. I have someone close to me who is in outpatient OR (all things OR) as a new grad, and she is not doing nursing residency. Pay is phenomenal, and she did not do the "traditional" route as she expected, but she wouldn't have it any other way. In the end of the day, it's all about putting you first in every aspect, putting your best foot forward, your dedication, knowing it will always work out for you, and never settle!! ? I am rooting for you!
  10. Hi! I just had a question - are you days or nights?!
  11. I asked a hypothetical scenario question to see the rationale of one were to be offered; I did not say if I received an offer.
  12. hi, would one accept a cvicu offer from st. luke's if offered and why? what questions would you want to ask to solidify your decision on going? are there any non-negotiables? thanks!
