Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

The research nurse residency focuses on training aspects that apply in the research field. So you only work pretty much normal office hours and is a hybrid position. You learn how to collect samples (blood draws, nasal sweeps, urine, etc.), how to write and follow SOPs, how to adhere to protocols, how to recruit patient participation, and how to work in an integrated research team including research coordinators, data analysts, primary investigators, etc.
The clinical residency is more of your traditional type. You'd be trained in whatever specialty/unit you get placed on. Learn how to provide medical care, pass meds, document, work either inpatient rotating shifts or outpatient depending on your placement, and basically act as what most people picture as a nurse in the normal sense!

Am I looking on the right website?
They were only open for maybe a few days and closed so soon! I thought it was opened by mistake because of how fast they closed it
