Houston Graduate Nurse Residency - Spring & Summer

I just wanted to create a list where we could place information about graduate nurse residency programs offered in Houston, Texas. Dates application open and close, meet and greets, match days, application status, etc. I know HCA offers the StaRN and Memorial Hermann has a residency program as well. Harris Health and Texas Children’s. Do y’all know of any others? Have you started applying?

Can you tell me which hospitals residencies have opened? A friend of mine is trying to apply but hasn't had any luck finding out dates for applications to open. thanks in advance

I know methodist closed on the 28th, harris, chi st lukes, and memorial hermann i would check to see if they are still open. HCA opens in march and has a match day on the 22nd.

Is there somewhere on their website match day will for sure be the 22nd of March?

They gave us this possible date when they came to talk to my school. The date for my current city is confirmed and people have scheduled times. I’ll post when they confirm the date and location.

What city are you currently located if I may ask? We haven't heard anything in our area and not sure if it's because we just didn't get called or if it's city by city. Thank you =]

Corpus Christi, TX interview date is March 18th. HCA came to talk with our school and some people got invited in advance as soon as it opened. Houston date and location is still pending as of now.
