I will be a new grad in May 2011 with my BSN and I have applied to a few residencies such as St. Luke's and Memorial Hermann, but I can't seem to find any of the other hospital's postings yet. Has anyone else been able to?

I called Cypress on Monday and she said to check back on Wednesday to see if I was going to get a interview. Sounds like the managers know who they want to interview already

Hmm okay - I have been trying to call her for days on end; she never picks up her phone! Good to know they haven't started interviews yet, though.

They have already. Don't think all the interviews are over with yet. She said my name wasn't on the list to be interviewed. I asked if she could check and make sure my application was complete and she was suppose to call me back but that never happened

Shtizu9....have you and your friend graduated already and do you both have your liscences? I heard MDA was only interviewing people with those 2 requirements??? Please let me know if this is true!

m-cabos - yes that is true. MD Anderson called and offered me a position this morning (and my friend, too)!!!:D MD Anderson only interviewed applicants that had graduated, had their license, and did either an externship or had clinical experience there.

Shithzu9, congrats...that's my dream job...I've done my intership for 1.5 yrs there but graduate in one month... :( hope they open it again in the summer...would love to stay there! but congrats to you and your friend!

I know this doesn't help anyone know but MD Anderson will hire a lot more new grads towards the end of the year
